- The pronunciation is easier than that. Simply break up the prefix into these parts: "Hn", "nea", "nanoni" "hoti"; pronounce them respectively as so: "hin; like sin only with an h for an s", "nee; like the word need but missing the last d", "nanon eh; like the abbreviation for anonymous preceded by an n-sound, which is then followed by the short i sound", "hoti; the same as you would pronounce the word hotel but missing the l".
