How to tell the difference between s(3,3{2}2) and s(3,3,1{2}2) (pententri)? Because, sometimes, I can be confused between these expressions. ARsygo (talk) 23:40, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- From https://stepstowardinfinity.wordpress.com/array/extended/:
- Unlike BEAF and BAN, in this array notation, s(a,b{2}2), s(a,b,1{2}2) and s(a,b,1,1{2}2) are not the same. They’re s(a,b,1,1…,1,2) with b-1, b and b+1 1’s respectively.
- Therefore s(3,3{2}2) = s(3,3,1,1,2) = s(3,3,3,3) (tetentri), while s(3,3,1{2}2) = s(3,3,1,1,1,2) = s(3,3,3,3,3). -- ☁ I want more clouds! ⛅ 08:25, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for noticing that. I finally knew strong array notation (up until extended array)
