    The official farewell

    February 15, 2018 by Nnn6nnn

I am permanantly leaving the wiki. The only reason I was here was to get help from other people on writing the course. All of the help here was either not helpful or was already answered by some of my friends who are writing the book with me. Also, I'm disconnecting my email from it so I won't be getting any of your messages, sorry. In case you need me, you know where to find me (I've said it a googolplex times in blogs).

Thank you to everyone who has tried to help me over the past year in getting this done. But, it hasn't seemed to be much of a help. All mistakes mentioned by you guys were pointed out before you guys found it. And some "help" was just a jerk trying so, so, so hard to ruin my day.

    ). Goodbye

    A "Notational" Proposal

    February 3, 2018 by Nnn6nnn

When given a problem like this: {3,3,2,2} divided by {3,3,1,2}, there is no way to write out the numbers to come up with an exact answer. When solving stuff like this, I usually put UL: followed by the furthest possible expansion.

    For example, {3,3,2,2} / {3,3,1,2} = UL: {3,u,2,2}/u

This is just how I represented the universal limit in expanding something in BEAF

I was going to title this blog "An Apology", but I quickly realized what that would turn into :)

So, yes, I am sorry for my absense from the wiki. I have been extremely busy with things. Through attending the Commonwealth Governor's School here in Virginia, I am constantly being bogged down with homework and such. The high amounts of stress messed me up pretty badly starting last January and I don't think I'll ever be the same. The wiki being added to all of that doesn't help at all and I've been sleep-deprived, obesessive, anxious, and depressed. I'm ok though: I'm always watched to make sure I'm not doing something that puts my life in danger. Anyway, I'll be working on homework for a while now.

However, this does not stop me from working…

    It's 'da textbook

    January 6, 2018 by Nnn6nnn

Here is what I have as of now. Disregard the section about Hyper-E notation. I will be redoing it from scratch.

Also, the formatting is a bit off, but please let me know about any factual or grammar errors that you might find.

Contact me at googologycourse@gmail.com since I might forget to check this blog post.

    Thanks!!

    Where Will Googology Go?

    January 4, 2018 by Nnn6nnn

Hello, fellow googologists. Googology is a very new and unknown field of mathematics. Meaning, we are some of the first people to invent all kinds of things. Pretty much every googologist is a student, and there aren't very many adult googologists. Let me pose a question: where do you think googology will go in 5 years? 10 years? 25 years? Will it even exist by that time, or will the government ban of out of fear of numbers larger than 10^80? Will it become popular, as well known as calculus? Will we continue studying googology? Will the next generation take our place? I want to hear what you think about this!!

Also, btw, I haven't gotten much done in regards to the textbook :(. Sorry
