Until November 18, 2022, The standard SI prefix system only extended to yotta- = 1024. A number of extended prefixes have been proposed for the next power of 1,000, 1027 (octillion). A common choice is a prefix starting with the letter X, extrapolating from the previous two prefixes, which have initials Z and Y respectively. As of Nov 18, 2022, ronna- has been voted as the official prefix for 1027.
